Скрипт на liveISO уже попытается найти зеркало в вашем регионе. Чтобы ранжировать доступные зеркала по скорости, переключиться на ветку, отличную от "стабильной" по умолчанию, или настроить pacman другими способами, редактируя его конфигурационные файлы, вы можете воспользоваться этим подменю.
Я рекомендую вам использовать по крайней мере 1.7.3. Rank Mirrors by Speed.
