Running a sed command on /etc/default/grub is questionable to begin with. This guide is from a port in 2014 and has not changed much since then. `acpi_backlight=vendor` was also never really desirable. `acpi_backlight=native` would have been the correct suggestion. But no such option should be used at all beginning with kernel 6.1
This page should probably simply be deleted.
