From Manjaro
Some HP printers require proprietary software technologies to allow full access to printer features and performance. Unfortunately, these technologies cannot be open sourced by HP, but to resolve this HP uses a binary plug-in for these printers. This comes not preinstalled with Manjaro since it currently only exists as an Arch User Package which Manjaro does not support.
user $ pamac install hplip-plugin
